Granloa was great! I used toasted flax seeds instead of peanuts, and added a few chopped pecans, a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of nutmeg and 1 tps of good vanilla.. it is like having yogurt with oatmeal cookies minus all the guilt!

I just made this granola and it is fabulous. I put the coconut in the receipe and I used pecans and walnuts for the nuts instead of almonds and penuts also I used sunflower seeds without the shells. I put crasins and raisins in al well. I am impressed at how good this tastes. Thanks for sharing this recipe.!

I made this tonight and I’m LOVIN’ it, girlfriend!! I actually made a big double batch and I’ve added so much junk to it that it’s unbelievable! Dried apples, apricots, craisins, raisins, pineapple, and once it really cools down, I’m planning to add just a little bit of M&M’s and a few butterscotch chips. When I added the nuts to the granola, I added about 6 different types of nuts, just measured them out in the cup to add up to the proper amount. As I’ve been turning it in the oven, I keep sneaking a taste. Thanks so much for sharing this! I’m going to have enough granola for the next six months, maybe… my 24 year old son will probably be hauling this to work with him everyday. I just hope I can swipe a few bags for myself. I bought little personal sized ziploc bags to fill with the granola. Thank you!!!

Dorothy, so glad to hear you like the granola recipe. It really is quite versatile and delicious. One good adaptation is to sub maple syrup for the honey.
