That was the grossest piece of paper that I have ever tasted. I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth for over a half hour. I guess that is why I’m a picky eater.

I work at a museum where we literally pass out 15 to 20 thousand of these strips per year. Scott is definitely NOT a supertaster! A true supertaster will cringe upon touching a tiny portion of the strip to the wet tip of his/her tongue. About 2/3 of the people we test are tasters, ranging from mild to super taster, while the remaining third taste only paper.

he is NOT a supertaster. when i did this test, i spat the strip out, leapt across the table for a glass of water, and gagged for at least 15 minutes (followed by a bitter aftertaste for at least an hour). trust me, it’s unpleasant. no way a guy saying “hmm, this is really bitter” while still swirling the strip around in his mouth is a supertaster. sorry bud.

Dude! You are so NOT a supertaster! A supertaster would not be able to tolerate it AT ALL! At best you are a “taster”. Get over yourself.

Also, you don’t have to practically shove the thing up your nose to smell it…and then put it in your mouth. Totally disgusting. Ewwwwwww!
