About

The Show

Fork You is a show all about Philadelphia, food, and fun.

Hosted by the very talented Marisa, and the very idiotic Scott, Fork You hopes to keep you entertained and educated.

Meet the Cast and Crew

Marisa McClellan: Co-host/Co-creator/Foodie

Marisa McClellan

Marisa McClellan isn’t a kumquat, but she often dreams of being one (and one day, with a little help from modern science, we believe that dream will come true!). Food is her passion, and she will often talk about it, write about it, and produce it… even when people would rather she didn’t. She recently graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a Masters in Writing and is currently working as a web producer at the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation.

Want more Marisa? Check out her blog at Apartment 2024. She is also the lead blogger at Slashfood, so if you want more foodie goodness, that’s the place to go.

Scott McNulty: Co-host/Co-creator/Editor

Scott McNulty

Scott McNulty is an idiot, many people agree. Though he is often confounded by food, talking, and standing up that doesn’t mean that he isn’t game to try. He serves as a sort of ‘Every Man’ on Fork You. If he can do it, chances are you can do it much, much better.

When not making a fool of himself in front of a camera Scott can be found making a fool of himself in textual form on his blog Blankbaby. He also has a habit of launching more and more projects to fill the empty void that is his personal life. Find out more about this projects at Blankbaby.com.

Angie J: Camera Woman

Angie

Born a crazy scientist and not realizing that some schools offer food chemistry majors, she went for second best and studied biology (don’t believe any of her “for the benefit of human kind” stuff).

She gets hungry at the mention of food, being worse than those Pavlovian dogs.

Her first kitchen experiment was a flan that never solidified properly at age 7 or 8 but she’s come a long way since then. She now loves baking and sharing baked goods, but has decided to cut back as some of her friends make fun of her for getting up early and staying up late just to bake.

Thad Jaszek: Director

Thad Jaszek

Thad Jaszek is the farthest thing from a Media Mogul, but fits in just fine as the Director of Fork You, a position that largely involves helping eat the food created during filming afterwards. You might recognize his hand and goofy laugh from cameo appearances in various Fork You episodes. He likes to think that his behind-the-scenes antics help keep the cast and crew of Fork You on their toes.

Not a blogger himself, A newly minted blogger and amateur photographer, Thad also enjoys his gadfly status as a commenter on various local blogs. He hopes you enjoy watching Fork You and will try some out some of the recipes yourself. (They’re good!)

Melissa, let us know how it turns out! It’s still my favorite granola recipe out there, mostly because it’s so easy to alter and adapt!

Al Malekovic 08.25.09 at 3:22 pm

Hi Marisa and Scott: My name is Al Malekovic (al@countrybobs.com) and I represent a very, very small company called Country Bob’s, Inc. We are making a great sauce called, “Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce” and we would like to get the word out about our product.
I know that review blogs are a great way to get information to the general public. I conducted a google search for food blogs and your name came and after looking at your blog, I was wondering if you would be interested in trying my sauce and perhaps reviewing it for me.

If you send me your name and address via e-mail, I would gladly send you a recipe brochure along with two bottles of Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce in hopes that you would write a review.

If you would like more information, I would be glad to respond to any questions you might have. In fact, if you are interested in interviewing me after you’ve sampled the product, I would gladly make myself available!

Thank you for your consideration. http://www.countrybobs.com We also have two two bottle give a ways for your blog.

I love Hippy-inspired foods. I was looking for some tips on how to improve my granola process and your video answered all my questions! Excellent! Thank you.

Living here in Boulder CO we have a lot of Hippy energy! :-)
